The Sea Vision Photography competition
- the results are in!!
The winners of the second annual Sea Vision Photography Competition have been announced.
The competition which was run in conjunction with Practical Photography magazine attracted nearly 1,000 entries from amateur and professional photographers across the country.
Sea Vision UK would like to thank everyone who entered this competition and made the judging process such a challenging one. The judges included Lord Ambrose Greenway, maritime consultant and respected marine photographer, Ben Hawkins, deputy editor of Practical Photography magazine and Claire Sneddon, Communications Manager Sea Vision UK.
And the winners are....
Malcolm Hobson – overall winner and winner of the Commercial category
David Merchant – winner of the Leisure category
Jim Parren – winner of the Maritime Heritage and Coastlines category
Congratulations to all three winners and to the short-listed runners up.
Malcolm Hobson, David Merchant and Jim Parren all win a Nikon D40 digital SLR camera, and Malcolm also wins a fabulous Topsail cruise for himself and another 19 people on a Thames barge.
