Sea Pictures Gallery announces early summer exhibition
Sea Vision partner Sea Pictures Gallery has announced its latest exhibition featuring the landscape of East Anglia

The early summer exhibition at Sea Pictures Gallery in Clare, Suffolk will start on Friday 21st May and run until Monday 5th July. The exhibition is entitled “Landscapes of East Anglia” and will feature work from a variety of artists either based in the region or whose work depicts the region. There will be traditional oils, watercolours, acrylics, linocuts, etchings, photographs and textiles.
Gallery owner Sarah Pugh says “we have views of Tollesbury, West Mersea, Snape, Maldon, Walberswick, Nayland, Southwold and the Norfolk coast alongside allotments, woods, windfalls, flowers and plants just to give you a flavour of what will be on offer.” Members of the East Anglian Group of Marine Artists, the Wapping Group and the Royal Society of Marine Artists are included in this show which is also part of the Suffolk Open Studios programme taking place throughout June.
On Saturday 12th June the gallery will host a book launch with the Suffolk based author and artist, Mary Woodin, who will be at the gallery in Clare from 12 noon until 3pm signing copies of her new book “The Painted Garden Cookery Book”. Original artwork from the book, together with limited edition prints and cards will also be on sale.
