Fishstock Brixham 2010 to be held on Sat 11 Sept 2010
Fishstock Brixham 2010 is a seafood, fishing heritage and music Festival whihc will be held in Brixham on the English Riviera on Saturday September 11th, 2010.

The event will have very strong focus on marine and maritime education and information for those attending the seafood festival during the day.
- Seafood from quality and sustainable sources will be prepared and cooked for the audience by celebrity/ TV chefs. Fishmongers will demonstrate their skills.
- Classes will be held for children with emphasis on seafood 2-a-week and food health. Information displays by Natural England, Marine ALSF, Crown Estates, CEFAS, MFA, RN, MCA, RNLI etc will be in a specially highlighted area.
- Heritage and modern fishing boats will be open to the public.
The event organisers aim to raise the profile of the sea, maritime activities and fishing to the general public and expect to attract at least 4,000 adults and 2,000 children.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen. The first Fishstock Brixham Festival was held in September 2008, to popular acclaim and £8,000 was raised and donated to the Fishermen’s Mission.
